Amputee Model Bernadette Hagans Stars As Latest Face Of Kurt Geiger Campaign

Fashion designer Kurt Geiger is known for working with understated models of the fashion industry. Recently, Kurt Geiger did it again by hiring a Belfast cancer survivor whose leg amputated, as the new face of his People Empowered campaign.

The 24-year-old Bernadette Hagans was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, an aggressive cancer of soft tissue. To save her life, she went through an ordeal of Limb Amputation in 2018. Walking with a prosthetic limb is not an easy task but the determined Hagans put her all energies in it and started walking with it.

Bernadette Hagans also an ambassador for children and young people's cancer charity CLIC Sargent, was so strongminded to return to normal life that she started her daily routine quickly and even signed with London-based agency Zebedee Management, which specializes in models with disabilities and alternative appearances.

After two years of hard work as an amputee model, Hagans is now the new face of Kurt Geiger's campaign People Empowered. 

She shared her new work with her Instagram family, 

“I’m wearing crystal lyon sneaker and the mini Kensington which are out now”

Hagans unveiled her new look on Instagram posts. In photos, she can be seen in a black hoodie, shocking neon quilted bag, and platform trainers. She stated her happiness that the fashion label selected right angles to show her prosthetic leg openly.

Faraz Abid Sheikhu Showcased His Parwane-E-Husan Collection At PLBW'19

The famous fashion designer Faraz Abid Sheikhu of FAS Design Studio stunned the audience of PLBW’19 with his astounding bridal couture “Parwane-E-Husan”. 

Bridal collection Parwan- e -Husan, is a flawless merger of eastern and western bridal creativeness. It features traditional sherwani, waistcoats and turbans for men, as well as ball gown silhouettes, shararas, ghararas, and pleated peplums for women.  

The designer showcased a wide range of bridal ensembles for the modern bride and groom. His show featured more showstoppers than any other designer over the course of three days.

The Parwane-E-Husan collection is made by using the delicate luxe fabrics with floral fiesta created with 3D fluorites and micro-pleatings with myriad fabrics and bright ornate embellishments to render a decadent tale of past royalty time-travelled into modern times giving it an distinctive uniqueness.

Faraz Abid Sheikhu while sharing his views about the new collection said, “My team and I have spent many days and nights for the past few months just conceptualizing and finalizing the designs for this collection. Alicia Khan And Mushk Kaleem Are Ready To Walk The Ramp At Milan Fashion Week

The two Pakistani models, Mushk Kaleem and Alicia Khan, are all set to walk for Italian designer Stella Jean, whose collection will highlight Pakistani handicraft at the renowned Milan Fashion Week on September 21^st.

The duo were selected for the prominent fashion week after Jean visited northern areas of country. While visiting the local areas few months back, the Haitian-Italian designer Stella Jean said, “Pakistan is a dream destination for foreigners, having multicultural diversity and a mix of cultural and ethnic clusters spread out from Sindh to Chitral”.

Along with the representatives from UNIDO, Jean visited Pakistan to discover the potential of the local industry, while concentrating on textiles, handicraft, truck art, traditional embroideries, distinctive costumes of Kalash people and to know the historical background as well.

The first Black-Italian designer is now going to showcase the other side of Pakistan during her Fashion show in Milan Fashion week Italy. We are waiting to see the new collection of designer and the Pakistani models at the ramp.

Aishwarya Rai's Latest Shoot Bear A Resemblance To Hollywood Stars' Old Shoots

The fans of Kate Winslet found it pretty amazing that Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai’s latest shoot for the first print cover of a new magazine, Peacock, by designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, resembles awkwardly similar to Hollywood diva Winslet’s old photo shoot for famous 2009 cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Designer Shane Peacock wrote; “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: A Timeless Star. It is very uncanny that Aishwarya’s copy-cat pose doesn’t end with Winslet. The Hollywood beauty Julia Roberts’ pose while climbing a big rock in a pink gown also resembles a lot. It was for Harper’s Bazaar.

It was critic Diet Sabya who swiftly pointed out the copy shoot but bolstered her criticism by sharing a collage of all three actress. Thus validating the comparisons.
