Review: "3 Bahadur - Rise Of The Warriors" Is Back In Full Form

Oscar winning filmmaker, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s 3 Bahadur set a new trend in Pakistan’s film industry by introducing animated stories. Recently, the Bahadur team is again here with the third and final part of the franchise, 3 Bahadur: Rise Of The Warriors.

The latest release marked the end of main characters Amna, Kamil and Saadi’s adventures who are living in an imaginary town, Roshan Basti. The all three characters have been given special powers by Deenu Chacha to keep the world save from all problems and evils.

In this new journey, the little girl and two boys are together against the evil powers of villains who are visiting earth with two superpowers named Babushka and Erma. The new visitor in their town, Erma is the warrior queen that brings enormous trouble for humans. In a parallel universe, Deenu Chacha finds Babushka starting chaos in Roshan Basti.  Watch the film to know the story details otherwise a little hint will spoil the adventure.

The latest part is written by Kamran Khan who also wrote the other two parts. Actress Mehwish Hayat and Nimra Bucha did voice-overs for Erma and Babushka while Behroze Sabzwari and Zuhab Khan as Saadi keep their presence as strong as they kept it in previous releases.

The television and radio’s famous name Khalid Malik lends his voice for the character of Khursheed. This is the second sequel featuring Malik as Khursheed. Sharing details about the role at the premier, Malik said, “My character is Khursheed and he runs a dhaaba. He’s a very down to earth humble man and also the father of Kami (one of the 3 Bahadurs).”

An animated film produced entirely in Pakistan, the 3 Bahadur’s all three parts have been appreciated by the audiences as they like Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s unique style. “It’s been great experience working with such a dedicated team and a committed team, it’s unique and it’s super special” further elaborated Malik about the experience of working with the team. 

The film has interesting story, just ignore the minor flaws and enjoy the brave little characters as well as the best animations in 3 Bahadur: Rise Of The Warriors.

Dolmen Shopping Mall Turns 25!

Pakistan's First Ever Film Festival To Be Held In New York

Pakistan’s first ever Film Festival is going to be held in New York in the first week of December. The festival will screen some of the best films including Oscar nominated “Mah-e-Meer”. 

The other films will include Dobara Phir Se, Lahore Say Aagey, Actor in law, Academy award winner Sharmeen Obaid’s animated film 3 Bahadur, Dukhtar, Dance Kahani and Ho Mann Jahaan.

The Pakistan Film Festival is the result of the continuous efforts of Dr. Maleeha Lodhi, the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to UN. The aim of the event is to promote the local industry and soft image of the country among the Ambassadors and Representatives accredited to UN. The top lot of Pakistan’s film industry and media persons will also attend the event.

Frieha Altaf, the CEO of Catwalk Event Management & Productions who is handling the PR of the two day festival, said, “The Pakistan film festival 2016 will bring in a selection of some of the finest films coming out of the Pakistan Film industry after decades of its struggle and revolution. Safeguard Hygiene Movement Takes Pakistan By Storm

Continuing their “Sehat o Safai” School Education Program, this Independence Day, Safeguard has pledged to educate 2 million kids across Pakistan on importance of health and hygiene.

Commander Safeguard’s latest Mission Clean sweep adventure is finally out. The new “Jungle Main Mungle” episode is not only hilarious.

The animation has a star-studded cast including Alyy Khan as Commander Safeguard, Ahmad Ali Butt as Dirtoo, Bahroze Sabzwari as Ghunsanna and Bushra Ansari as Dirty. It also has incredibly sophisticated animation technology, and the song is done by Shuja Haider and Ahmad Ali Butt.

Safeguard has been leading since 2002 to empower kids to become health and hygiene champions. Perhaps the hallmark of this campaign was the birth of Pakistan’s first superhero, Commander Safeguard, created to augment educational material on health and hygiene. 

 Commander Safeguard series ended up doing much more than revolutionizing health and hygiene education though: it transformed Pakistan’s animation industry, and also became an international phenomenon. Safeguard, as the pioneer in animated series, also partnered with 3 Bahadur, an animated movie production by Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, again revolutionizing the perception of heroes to Pakistani youth everywhere.

Commander Safeguard and the associated Safeguard School Education Program are great examples of how private sector brains can contribute to public sector good. Over the years Safeguard has educated 12 million+ kids at the grass root, primary school level with special support in this cause from key partners Pakistan Medical Association and Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan. This year again, Safeguard Mission Clean sweep will be playing in schools starting 15^th Sep.

No 'Honour' In Honour Killings Says Prime Minister

Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif praised the initiative taken by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy's Oscar nominated documentary against honour killing - 'A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness."


“Islam discourages violence against women, and there is no honour in honour killings ” said the premier at the screening of the documentary at the Prime Minister House.

The Prime Minister further added; “She (Sharmeen Obaid) has drawn our attention to the dark side of societal behaviour; something about some of us choose to remain uninformed,”

Director and producer Chinoy's documentary, A Girl in the River: The price of forgiveness, is a story of a rare survivor (a girl) who falls in love. However, she was shot and thrown in river by her father for her mistake of marrying a man of her own choice. The brave girl survives to tell the tale.

As a filmmaker, Chinoy won an Academy Award for her documentary Saving Face (2012) and two Emmy Awards for her documentaries Pakistan's Taliban Generation (2010) and Saving Face (2012).
