OPPO Presents Waterfall Screen Technology

Once again OPPO is in news. This time for a different reason; OPPO actually reveals a prototype device featuring the “Waterfall Screen” design, which has a robust visual impact due to a vertical 88° curved body that makes the device border less.

It represents OPPO’s innovative exploration of brand-new form of mobile phones. It also reflects OPPO’s exploration of full-screen technology and ongoing pursuit of ultimate aesthetics.

Exploration of new form factors and materials, as indicated by the “Waterfall Screen”, is one of the five major fields of R&D at OPPO. OPPO has rich experience in curved display design as well. Previously, the OPPO Find X featured a Panoramic Arc Screen design that achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%. The latest “Waterfall Screen” is one of OPPO’s new achievements in the exterior design of phones.

Dhaani Launches Outlet In Lahore

The luxury pret brand Dhaani launches its first outlet in Lahore. Started by sister duo Asma and Ambreen Aslam, Dhaani showcased their latest collection of semi-formal women’s wear.  

Situated in the prime location of Y Block DHA Lahore, the launch event presented the design philosophy of the brand. The pret designs are made for those strong and confident woman who appreciates trends with comfort, fragility and femininity.



The brand representatives shared their reason for choosing the name Dhaani, to represent colour, delicacy and easy-to-carry clothing. "We make clothes that we personally like to wear," said the designer Asma Aslam.

Dhaani fuses various elements along with unique embellishment techniques, such as use of material, exquisite cuts and bold use of colors, to make it stand out. The price range of the brand starts from PKR 2,500.


Dhaani's brand ambassador Sara Loren attended the launch. Sara stated that Dhaani is perfect for the modern day woman who knows how to stay relevant, aims to become a trendier and more confident version of herself. "Dhaani luxury is chic, trendy, affordable and quirky," she further said. 




The launch was attended by fashion industry stalwarts, celebrities, journalists, socialites, bloggers and noted individuals from all walks of life. Many celebrities were dressed in Dhaani's latest collection.
