Attired in deeply embellished dresses and fabulous jewels, the Humsafar star, Mahira Khan looked like a portrayal of a royal princess as her latest bridal shoot went viral on social media.

The photoshoot is from the latest bridal collection by famous fashion designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha. The Preet Lari - Mithraan named bridal collection is a requiem to feelings and love evoking the cheerfulness a bride feels on her wedding day.

Mohsin Naveed Ranjha’s Preet Lari collection contains bold rich hues, extinguished with the beauty of vintage gold and elaborate gold, dabka and zarri embellishments.

The maroon and green bridal that has two-tiered velvet lehnga embroidered and hand embroidered design with floral details, looks very attractive for rukhsati bride. The collection is looking stunning and traditional style jewels are complementing the dresses.

The headgear and choker really adds more beauty to overall bridal look. Mahira Khan looked like a dream bride in these bridal dresses embellished with pearl, zari and dabka work. The collection looks even more majestic with a mixture of net and organza along with a matching velvet pouch.

Aimed to present western aesthetics for local audience, the Sana Safinaz’s latest collection is a balanced blending between East and West. The collection ‘Message from the East’ have been crafted to show the exquisiteness when west meets the east’s traditional motifs and artistic creativity.

Famous for their artistic fusion work, Pakistan’s fashion designer duo Sana Safinaz showed a range of modern-day cuts, colors and styling. However, the array of designs didn’t succeed in presenting something for everyone. Some Victorian style cuts are not very practical and can’t be adopted in 21^st century, yet we can still say that the idea and creativity behind the collection startlingly displayed in the essence of ‘Message from the East’.

The wonderful amalgamation of materials from light net to dense fabrics, bright to dark shades and unique cuts proves the designer duo has a amazing chemistry to present out of box concept. One thing is very confusing, the season has been changed, from winter to summer, but Sana Safinaz added velvet and suede in their collection. Pakistan’s fashion enthusiasts can’t wear such heavy material in the upcoming hot and humid season, May be the designer duo focused their international clients for these heavy fabric designs.

Some of designs gives the bohemian vibes. The designs included flared trousers paired with long shirts. The rich shades integrated with light to heavy embroidery, silk thread work along with pearls, tassels, rhinestones and traditional fringe style kiran.

For the wedding season and brides-to-be, Sana Safinaz displayed lehengas, cholis and gowns made with satin, tissue, organza and mainly in greyish or silver tones with experimental embellishments on dupattas.

Asim Jofa Initiated Green Pakistan, Clean Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated the Clean and Green Pakistan campaign and everyone is taking part in it. Pakistan’s celebrated designer Asim Jofa has also come forward to initiate a Green Clean Pakistan drive to show th love for his country by beautifying the cities.

The media fraternity of Pakistan including renowned actors, directors, government officials, and other influencers joined hands in reinforcing the social responsibility of being a Pakistani citizen by supporting the cause.

While talking to the media, Jofa, who initiated the campaign back in 2014, said, "To plant a tree today is to believe in a greener and cleaner Pakistan of tomorrow."

Celebrities including Faysal Quraishi, Maria Wasti, Sonya Hussyn, Shaz Khan, Sohail Javed, Zhalay Sarhadi, Nausheen Shah and Ayesha Toor all participated in Jofa’s drive of planting new trees at the famous ll-Talwar monument in Karachi.

The guest of honor for the tree plantation ceremony was Mr. Fakhr-e-Alam, who is on a journey to becoming the first National Hero of Pakistan to circumnavigate the globe in a single-engine aircraft.

It is a groundbreaking initiative by Jofa to supervise the restore, and beautify the local sites. The marked transformation of II-Talwar and III-Talwar in Clifton alongside the visible improvement of the famous Fish Roundabout (aka Zulfiqar Roundabout) at the junction of Hawksbay Sandspit, are all credited to the efforts of Team Asim Jofa.

Fashion designer for menswear Amir Adnan and wife Huma Adnan, the creative head of FnkAsia, hosted a solo show Enchanted Wedding to celebrate their 27 years reign in fashion. The brand’s hard work and trend setting was appreciated by its earliest clients and fans who attended an evening of fabulous revelry.

The celebrities and models who have worked with the fashion house in their most iconic shoots walked the runway once again for the pioneering menswear brand. It was arranged in the garden area of Amir Adnan’s residence.
