The eighth day of March has been acknowledged as International Women’s Day globally.
This day echoes women’s development in all walks of life all the way through
history.
Throughout the World, women are playing their part for the progress of social, economic, cultural and political attainments. We, as women of modern age, have ample reasons to celebrate this Women’s Day. However, the improvement regarding gender equality has decelerated in many areas in recent times.
In 2014, The World Economic Forum anticipated it would take
until 2095 to attain worldwide gender equality. In 2015, it was estimated that
an obstruction in the contemptuous stride of improvement meant the gender gap
wouldn't be achieved completely until 2133. Its pretty alarming for all of us.
Now the question is how we can celebrate International
Women's Day this year?
The answer is very simple. Let’s stand for gender equality by "Pledging For Parity!"
Every person including all men and women can vow to take a solid step to support gender equality/parity speedily. Just do a simple thing - support women and young girls to accomplish their goals, raise your voice for women’s respect and value in every walk of life, cultivate more wide-ranging and accommodating values, eradicate gender based workplace unfairness and low pays.
Last but not least, lets talk about domestic violence and women trafficking. Stand together against every discrimination.
With such mind-set we can easily speed up the gender
parity.
