Film Daal Chawal Is Ready To Pay Homage To Police And Armed Forces

A police officer turned filmmaker DIG Akbar Nasir Khan is ready to release his debut film Daal Chawal on Oct 4. Inspired by real events and original locations, the Daal Chawal’s powerful screenplay is based on criminology and honest officers of police department.

The cast includes Salman Shahid and Shafqat Cheema while some new faces will be introduced for instance, Ahmed Sufiyan and Momina Iqbal in leading roles. The film will pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Directed by Awais Khalid, the subject of the story is patriotism and the martyrs of police and armed forces who sacrificed their precious lives fighting against terrorism. The film also shed light on today’s social issues, all with satire, hilarity and thrilling action.

Well-known Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has sung the theme song for the film, along with Maria Meer and Jabbas Abbas.

Mehwish Hayat, Zara Noor Abbas & Asad Siddiqui Will Be Appearing In Chalawa

Everyone appreciated Pakistan's filmmaker Wajahat Rauf for his upcoming movie Chhalawa. The romantic comedy revolves around family issues.

The film's cast include Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rahman, Zara Noor Abbas, Asad Siddiqui, Ashir Wajahat, Mahmood Aslam and Adnan Shah Tipu.

The Chhalawa's music has been done by renowned musician Shiraz Uppal while Rauf himself written the script and did the job of producing the film. 

The First-Look has been released and it sounds interesting. Mehwish Hayat is looking gorgeous as usual. Recently, Hayat has been conferred with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for her services in the film industry and promotion of Pakistani cinema. This is her first upcoming film after getting country's top award, one hopes that she will show her talent in full form once again. 

One can argue whether there is some kind of paranormal activity in the film or not; because the title suggests something like that, only time will tell. The film's story will cover two love-stories side by side.

     

For the first time Zara Noor Abbas and her husband Asad Siddiqui will be doing a project together.

Talking about her movie, Zara Noor said, “This film is very special as I am starring opposite my husband for the first time. It will be a joyful ride filled with lots of emotions and feelings so get ready to laugh and take this journey with us."

The film Chhalawa will be released on this Eid-ul-Fitr.
