Pakistan's Renowned Philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi Dies At 88

Renowned Philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi

The legendary humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi, who mostly referred to as "The Richest Poor Man" and "Pakistan's Mother Teresa" died in Karachi after a prolonged illness and renal failure. He was 88.

He founded the famous Edhi Foundation in 1957, a non-profit social welfare program in Pakistan. It is the only foundation that is providing numerous services throughout the Pakistan. Its services include free hospitals, medical care, shelters for destitute, handicapped persons and orphans, drug rehabilitation, international level relief efforts, emergency, ambulance and air ambulance services, educational centers, blood banks, marine and coastal services. 

In 2005, Edhi Foundation provided $100,000 in aid to relief efforts after Katrina Hurricane. 


Young Edhi
Born on 1 January 1928, Edhi began his social work as a very young man. Mostly known as "Angel Of Mercy", Edhi remained a simple, humble and modest man throughout his life. He lived in a two room apartment near his foundation. 



For his humanitarian work, he earned several awards at local and international level. Following is the list of his awards:

Not only Pakistani nation but the whole world is mourning his death. He left a legacy of work and he will remain in hearts for his love of humanity.

1. When did you start your blog and what was the reason of starting your blog?

A - Oh Lady Mania was started back in 2012 but due to some reasons we were not able to continue it. In mid 2015 we re-started blogging. The  reason behind our blog was to share good content and events with our readers.

2. Have you ever met someone famous and who was that?

A - Yes, we have met famous cricketers and local artists including film, T.V, musicians, and Fine artists.

3. What do you think was the happiest moment of your life?

A - There are numerous, very difficult to pick only one. However, it was the happiest time of our life when we went for family holidays to hill station.

4. Your favorite childhood memory?

A - Learning cycling is the loveliest childhood memory.

5. The song that explains your mood now? 

A - Connecting mood with a song is not an easy thing, however, Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do is a beautiful song that anyone can enjoy. 

6. Your favorite jewelry piece?

A - Rings, Anklet and chains

7. Nike or Adidas?

A - Nike

8. Are you more like sporty or elegant girl?

A - Let's say elegant :P

9. Do you have any enemies?

A - Not enemies but jealous people are everywhere.   

10. Have you got any haters of your blogs?

A - Radar is still on :D

A - Sweet virtual friends who are the support pillar of our blog.

Oscars 2016 - Five Best Dressed Celebrities

The world renowned celebrities walked down the red carpet at the Academy Awards 2016 in most fashionable and sexy styles. There were all time finest dresses, jewelry, shoes and bags. The latest makeup trends were another highlight of the event.

Here are our five most favourite dressed celebrities from the red carpet of Oscars 2016. We hope you will like them as well.

Grammy Awards 2016: Three Best Dressed Celebrities

The fashions at the Grammy Awards are well known for some extra ordinary extravagance specifically stars’ dresses, jewelry, shoes, bags and makeup.

The 2016 Grammys also exhibited stylish and unique attires of renowned celebrities. There were an array of colours with sexy designs and exclusive cuts.

From Lady Gaga’s blue embroidered gown to Taylor Swifts’ Atelier Versace hot pink and Adele’s full black dress, every celeb gave us a totally different look from the usual fashions.
