A beautiful and attractively applied makeup is totally dependent on how a face has been sculpted. For best results to built a well sculpted facial features, a good contour product is a must-have item in a makeup collection. Sometimes, it is an Herculean task to buy a perfectly matched contour shade which can blend flawlessly with your complexion and makeup tone.

We have already tried different contour powders of various brands, and every time the results were different due to the ingredients and their blending properties. Recently, a locally produced contouring powder caught our attention and we immediately decided to give it a try.

It is a Contour Powder 'Walnut' ACFP - 06 by none other than the famous artist, philanthropist  and social worker Atiqa Odho who is also the CEO of locally produced makeup brand Atiqa Odho Cosmetics.

Let's see how it worked for us:

The Brand Claims:

Established in 2003, Atiqa Odho cosmetics have maintained their quality since day one. It is an ISO certified makeup brand of Pakistan. Keeping in mind the Pakistan’s women skin tones, the Odho cosmetic products have been created with good quality containing halal formula and are available at very affordable prices.

The six grams Walnut contour powder contains Zinc oxide, Mica, Isopropyl Myristate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate Nylon - 12, Magnesium Stearate Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate Silica, BHA, Propylparaben, May Contain: Ci 77491/Ci 77492/Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides), Ci 77891 (Titanium Dioxides)

Packaging:

It comes in a typical Atiqa Odho cosmetic packaging; it has a transparent plastic lid with a dark red outer circle that covers the powder pan. While the lower part has a mirror and a puff in it.

Our Verdict:

We applied the Odho Walnut contour powder with SPF-15 over a perfectly blended foundation. The choice for foundation can varies depending on your pick, you can even use a good BB cream as a base. Instead of using a powder puff, we always prefer to use a high quality contour brush because it helps profoundly in absolute blending. So, we applied this contour powder with a brush as well.

The result after blending was flawless as it helped in creating a nicely sculpted face. Its formula is a little bit chalky but manages to produce a smooth texture with a fine matt finish and due to this property it is a good choice for daily wear during hot and humid days.

The walnut is reasonably pigmented and the tone is pretty suited for fair skin because its slightly brownish hue enhanced the facial features by giving face a very natural look.

The staying power of Walnut Contour Powder is nearly 3 - 5 hours with a slightly pleasant smell.

Rating:

We would rate it 4/5 for its reasonable price and nice quality.

Review: Odho Cosmetics Lipstick

.
Photo: Oh Lady Mania
Hello everyone,

Today I am going to post a review of a lipstick from the Odho Cosmetics. I bought it from Scentsation, Dolmen Mall Clifton. I have been using this for the past fifteen days and I am going to tell you about its results.

So, let’s see what I have gathered about this lipstick from my experience:

The Brand Claims:

Atiqa Odho cosmetics have maintained their quality since day one. It is an ISO certified brand of Pakistan. Keeping in mind the Pakistan’s women skin tones, the Odho cosmetics have been created with good quality products at affordable prices.

My Verdict:

Odho’s lipsticks have been endorsed as halal products because no lead or animal fat has been used in their formula.

As far as the packaging is concerned, the lipsticks come in a red and golden color combination bullet with a knob style cover. It looks pretty attractive due to vibrant colour covering.

I have found my lipstick a little bit creamy with hydrating texture. With its moisturizing quality, it slides smoothly on lips without highlighting the fine lines. My Odho lipstick lasts up to five to six hours with an amazing comfortable feel. Surprisingly, it doesn’t bleed like some other lipsticks. The colour is as per my choice so I selected it within few minutes.

All things considered, I liked my Odho lipsticks for its moisturizing coverage that lasted for good five hours. I always like to have light colours and I found this shade as a good collection in my cosmetics.

I have not tried the matte lipsticks of Odho cosmetics so I can’t say what they would be in texture and pigment. However, I can say that my selected lipstick was a nice decision as it is up to the scale of international brands.

My Rating:

I would rate it 4/5

Availability:

Odho cosmetics are available at all leading stores in all big cities. These can be purchased online as well.
